From Antibodies.com, this Human S100 Calcium Binding Protein A10 (S100A10) ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human S100A10 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-S100A10 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, visualised using TMB substrate solution and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard detection range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a reported sensitivity of <0.123 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery performance is given as: Serum (n=5) 83–100%, average 91%; EDTA Plasma (n=5) 90–98%, average 94%; Heparin Plasma (n=5) 89–102%, average 95%. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is reported as 83–110%, 79–100%, 90–98% and 82–108% for serum (n=5); 90–98%, 90–105%, 73–109% and 87–91% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 88–103%, 77–105%, 95–98% and 87–110% for heparin plasma (n=5).

Supplied kit components include a pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers.
