Human RIO Kinase 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human RIOK1/RIO1 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. It is intended for use with a colorimetric microplate reader, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The assay is built around a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). An antibody specific for RIOK1/RIO1 is immobilised on the plate; standards and samples are added and the target is captured. After washing, a biotinylated anti-RIOK1/RIO1 antibody binds the captured analyte, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added and the enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; the yellow intensity is proportional to the amount of RIOK1/RIO1 captured and is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Reported performance figures are a sensitivity of <0.097 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
