Human Ribophorin I ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Ribophorin I in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate formatted as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for Ribophorin I immobilised on the plate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where the target is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-Ribophorin I detection antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. The concentration of Ribophorin I is calculated by reading the absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of 0.63 ng/ml and an assay range of 1.56–100 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product must not be used past its expiration date. The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
