Human Ribonucleotide Reductase M1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Ribonucleotide Reductase M1 (RRM1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for RRM1 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and bound by the immobilized antibody. After incubation and washing, Biotinylated Anti-RRM1 Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of RRM1 captured and is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is 0.27 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.781-50 ng/ml. The platform is a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Sample recovery has been validated across serum (range 80-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80-89%, average 84%) using five replicates each.
