Human Ribonuclease T2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Human Ribonuclease T2 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Ribonuclease T2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with antibody specific for Ribonuclease T2. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-Ribonuclease T2 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the reaction, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of Ribonuclease T2 is calculated from the standard curve.

The standard curve range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.069 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Spike-and-recovery validation in serum (n=5) gave a range of 80–102% with an average of 91%, EDTA plasma (n=5) 81–101% averaging 91%, and heparin plasma (n=5) 80–89% averaging 84%. Dilution linearity has been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each sample type. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or −20°C as indicated.
