Human Rhodopsin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Rhodopsin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an immobilized capture antibody, a biotinylated anti-Rhodopsin detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate generating a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.118 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been evaluated across n=5 samples per matrix: serum 80%-102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%-100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80%-89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity is provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.
