Human Rho GDP Dissociation Inhibitor Beta ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Rho GDP Dissociation Inhibitor Beta (also referred to as D4 GDI) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for D4 GDI, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-D4 GDI detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal developed using TMB substrate and read colorimetrically at 450 nm.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of 0.235 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.625-40 ng/ml. Total run time is 4h 30m. Standards are prepared by serial 1:2 dilution from 40 ng/ml down to 0.625 ng/ml, with the detection reagents diluted 1:100 in sample dilution buffer.

Suitable samples include serum, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma, cell culture supernatant, tissue homogenates and cell lysates. Manufacturer-reported recovery values are serum average 91% (range 80%-102%, n=5), EDTA plasma 91% (81%-101%, n=5) and heparin plasma 84% (80%-89%, n=5). Linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions: serum (n=5) 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108%; heparin plasma (n=5) 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91%.
