Human Rho GDP Dissociation Inhibitor Alpha ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human RhoGDI (Rho GDP Dissociation Inhibitor Alpha) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microtiter plate arranged as 12 strips of 8 wells with an antibody specific for RhoGDI immobilised on the surface. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-RhoGDI Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and RhoGDI concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The assay has a stated sensitivity of <0.066 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with an approximate total assay time of 4h 30m. Sample validation included serum (average recovery 91%, range 80–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 91%, range 81–101%, n=5), and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80–89%, n=5). The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.

Kit components include the pre-coated microplate, vials of lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and adhesive plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or −20°C as indicated for each component.
