Human Rho Associated Coiled Coil Containing Protein Kinase 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Rho Associated Coiled Coil Containing Protein Kinase 2 (ROCK2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection carried out by colorimetric measurement of absorbance at 450 nm. The workflow involves a biotinylated anti-ROCK2 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a blue product that changes to yellow on addition of the stop solution; the intensity of the yellow colour is proportional to the amount of ROCK2 captured in each well.

Across validation samples (n=5 per matrix), average recovery ranged from 93% in serum to 94% in both EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Individual sample recoveries across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 ranged from 70% to 110%. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and the kit is suitable for serum, plasma and tissue homogenates.
