Human Rh Blood Group, D Antigen ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables in vitro quantitative determination of human RhD in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The reagent is reactive with human samples.

The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate. An antibody specific for RhD captures the antigen from standards and samples, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-RhD Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and the RhD concentration in each sample is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The kit demonstrates a sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
