Human Retinoic Acid Receptor Responder 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative measurement of human Retinoic Acid Receptor Responder 1 (RARRES1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for RARRES1. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where the target is captured by the immobilized antibody and then detected using a Biotinylated Anti-RARRES1 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a coloured product whose intensity is proportional to RARRES1 concentration and is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.066 ng/ml. Recovery in serum (n=5) averaged 91% across a range of 80%-102%, in EDTA plasma (n=5) 91% across 81%-101%, and in heparin plasma (n=5) 84% across 80%-89%. Linearity on dilution was demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with recoveries generally within the 74%-108% window.

Total assay time is 4h 30m, with absorbance read on a colorimetric microplate reader. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past the expiration date.
