Human Retinoic Acid Receptor Gamma ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Retinoic Acid Receptor gamma in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and colorimetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The detection range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.064 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Standards and samples are added to wells pre-coated with an antibody specific for Retinoic Acid Receptor gamma, followed by Biotinylated Anti-Retinoic Acid Receptor gamma Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the density of yellow is proportional to the amount of target captured in each well and is quantified by reference to a standard curve.

Recovery has been validated across serum (n=5, range 80% - 102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81% - 100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80% - 89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported for serum (74-107%), EDTA plasma (79-108%) and heparin plasma (82-105%). Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
