Description

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human TIG3 (Retinoic Acid Inducible Gene 1 Protein) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for TIG3, with standards and samples bound by the immobilised antibody and detected using a Biotinylated Anti-TIG3 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450nm in a microplate reader and the TIG3 concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

The assay has a stated sensitivity of <0.09 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m, and the kit is suitable for use with serum and plasma samples. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
