Human Replication Protein A1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human RPA70 (Replication Protein A1) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for RPA70 is pre-coated onto the microplate, and captured target is detected using a biotinylated anti-RPA70 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The colour change is visualised after addition of stop solution and read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.106 ng/ml and a quantitative assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. The standard protocol completes in 4h 30m, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The assay should not be used past its stated expiration date.

Validation data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=5 per matrix). Average recoveries were 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions, with serum recoveries of 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% respectively; EDTA plasma recoveries of 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108%; and heparin plasma recoveries of 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91%.
