Human Renin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Renin. The assay is compatible with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. Standards and samples are added to the pre-coated wells where Renin is captured by the immobilized antibody, then detected using a biotinylated anti-Renin antibody followed by an HRP conjugate and TMB substrate. The resulting colour change is proportional to Renin concentration, which is calculated by reference to a standard curve covering the range 31.2–2000 pg/mL.
