Human Renalase ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Renalase in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The format uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an immobilised capture antibody specific for Renalase; bound analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-Renalase antibody followed by HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a colour change proportional to Renalase concentration.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.52 ng/ml and a working range of 1.25-80 ng/ml, with results read as absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery has been validated at n=5 in serum (range 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, average 84%), with dilution linearity maintained from 1:2 through 1:16 across all three matrices.
