Human Regenerating Islet Derived Protein 4 ELISA Kit

A quantitative sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro measurement of human Regenerating Islet Derived Protein 4 (REG4) in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for REG4 immobilised on the plate.

Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-REG4 detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate visualises the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that converts to yellow after stop solution addition. Absorbance is read at 450 nm and REG4 concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

The stated assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.055 ng/ml, and the run time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.
