Description

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Regenerating Islet Derived Protein 3 Gamma (REG3G). The kit is reactive with human samples and is intended for measuring REG3G in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and a colourmetric detection method read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. The standard curve spans a product range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 14.5 pg/ml. The procedure employs a biotinylated anti-REG3G detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting absorbance is proportional to the amount of REG3G captured in each well.

Reported average recovery values for neat samples (n=5) are 91% for serum (range 83-100%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 91-98%), and 94% for heparin plasma (range 90-99%). Across dilution series from 1:2 to 1:16 in the same sample types, observed values fall within 74-109%. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
