Human Regenerating Islet Derived Protein 3 Alpha ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human REG3a in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-REG3a detection antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve spans 6.25–400 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <2.58 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. The colourmetric signal intensity is directly proportional to the amount of REG3a captured in each well, with concentration calculated by reference to the standard curve.

Average recoveries from spiked biological matrices were 91% for serum (range 83–100%, n=5), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 91–98%, n=5) and 94% for heparin plasma (range 90–99%, n=5).
