Human Receptor Tyrosine Kinase Like Orphan Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Receptor Tyrosine Kinase Like Orphan Receptor 1 (ROR1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for ROR1 pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where ROR1 is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-ROR1 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration of ROR1 is calculated against a standard curve.

The reported sensitivity is <0.054 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery in serum (n=5) ranged from 80-102% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 81-100% (average 90%), and in heparin plasma (n=5) 80-89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for all three sample types. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
