Human Receptor Interacting Serine Threonine Kinase 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Receptor Interacting Serine Threonine Kinase 1 (RIP) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format: standards and test samples are added to wells where RIP is captured by an immobilized antibody, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-RIP Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added and the reaction stopped with acidic stop solution; the resulting absorbance is read at 450nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance data reported by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of <0.057 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Detection is colourimetric. Recovery data from spiked samples (n=5) indicate averages of 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma, and 84% in heparin plasma, with linearity demonstrated across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 in the same matrices. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
