Description

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD32 (Receptor II For The Fc Region Of Immunoglobulin G) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for CD32; standards and test samples are added and any CD32 present is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-CD32 antibody is added followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and CD32 concentration is calculated from the absorbance read at 450 nm against the standard curve.

The assay is intended for use with a colorimetric microplate reader, with a total run time of 4 h 30 min. The stated sensitivity is <15.25 pg/ml and the quantitative range is 46.8–3000 pg/ml. Reported average spike-recovery values (n=5) are 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 81–101%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution-linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, 92–97%), EDTA plasma (90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, 79–108%) and heparin plasma (84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, 89–91%) with n=5 per sample type.

Components are to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual, and the product should not be used past the stated expiration date. It is listed under the Assays and Kits product category and is configured for use with human samples.
