Description

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD64 (Receptor I for the Fc Region of Immunoglobulin G) in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips) together with a biotinylated anti-CD64 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is <0.31 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed and must not be used past the expiration date.

Manufacturer-supplied validation includes spike-and-recovery data across three matrices (n=5 each): serum 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80%–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in the same sample types (n=5), with reported ranges of 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.
