Human/Rat PDGF BB ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative in vitro determination of human and rat PDGF BB in cell culture supernatant, serum and plasma. The assay uses a monoclonal antibody specific for human/rat PDGF-BB immobilised on microwells, followed by a biotin-linked detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP for a colorimetric readout on a microplate platform.

According to the manufacturer, the assay range is 31.25 - 2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 2.13 pg/ml. The kit shows no significant cross-reactivity and is suitable for assaying both native and recombinant human/rat PDGF BB. Average recovery from serum samples is reported as 95%. Storage instructions are +4°C, with the recommendation not to use the kit past its expiration date.
