Human Ras Related C3 Botulinum Toxin Substrate 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Ras Related C3 Botulinum Toxin Substrate 1 (Rac1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate read on a colorimetric microplate reader, employing Biotinylated Anti-Rac1 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate detection with TMB substrate and an acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm and the concentration of Rac1 is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Key performance figures are a sensitivity of <0.060 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. The kit is intended for human reactivity. Reported mean recoveries across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma are 91%, 91% and 90% respectively, with linear dilution behaviour demonstrated across the tested sample matrices.
