Human RAGE ELISA Kit

A quantitative sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro measurement of human RAGE in cell culture supernatant, serum, and plasma. The plate is pre-coated with a monoclonal antibody specific for human RAGE; standards or samples are added, followed by a biotin-linked detection antibody. After washing, streptavidin-HRP is added, and the substrate reaction produces a colour proportional to bound RAGE, which is stopped with acid and read on a microplate reader. The kit assays both native and recombinant human RAGE and has shown no significant cross-reactivity.

Reported performance figures from the manufacturer include an assay range of 15.63 – 1000 pg/ml, a sensitivity of <0.75 pg/ml, and an average recovery from serum samples of 100%. The assay is colourimetric, run on a microplate platform, and components should be stored at +4°C and not used past the expiration date.
