Human RAB1A, Member RAS Oncogene Family ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human RAB1A (Member RAS Oncogene Family). It is validated for tissue homogenates and other biological fluids using a colorimetric sandwich enzyme immunoassay on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips.

The quantitative assay has a sensitivity of < 0.067 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m. Detection is based on a biotinylated anti-RAB1A antibody and HRP-avidin with TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm and concentrations are interpolated from a standard curve.

Validation data generated on serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=5 each) showed spike-and-recovery averages of 91% (range 83–100%), 96% (range 90–103%) and 95% (range 89–102%), respectively. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions gave recoveries of 83–110%, 79–100%, 90–98% and 82–108% for serum; 90–98%, 90–105%, 73–109% and 87–91% for EDTA plasma; and 88–103%, 77–105%, 95–98% and 87–110% for heparin plasma.
