Human Pyruvate Kinase, Liver And RBC ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human pyruvate kinase, liver and RBC (PKLR) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate with antibody specific for PKLR, a biotinylated anti-PKLR detection antibody, HRP-avidin and a TMB substrate, producing a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported assay range is 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.31 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 h 30 m.

Reported sample performance (n=5) gave averages of 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–99%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Values were also reported at serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with overall observed ranges of 74–107% for serum, 79–108% for EDTA plasma and 82–105% for heparin plasma.
