Human Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Phosphatase ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Phosphatase, also designated PDP1/PDP, in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported sensitivity is <0.099 ng/ml with a quantitative assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. In spike-and-recovery testing, serum samples (n=5) recovered 80-102% with an average of 91%, EDTA plasma (n=5) recovered 81-100% averaging 90%, and heparin plasma (n=5) recovered 80-89% averaging 84%. Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, with serum yielding 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, and 92-97% respectively; EDTA plasma yielding 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, and 79-108%; and heparin plasma yielding 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, and 89-91%. The kit is reported as suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates. Components include lyophilized standard, Biotinylated Anti-PDP1/PDP antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers.
