Human Purinergic Receptor P2Y, G Protein Coupled 12 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human P2Y12 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate onto which standards and samples are added; captured P2Y12 is bound by a biotinylated anti-P2Y12 antibody, detected with an HRP-avidin conjugate and visualised using TMB substrate. The resulting chromogenic signal is read at 450 nm in a colourmetric microplate reader, with colour density proportional to the P2Y12 concentration in each well.

The assay has a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a stated sensitivity of less than 0.063 ng/ml. Total run time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated and the kit should not be used past its stated expiration date.

Reported validation data include average recoveries of 91% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma and 95% in heparin plasma. Linearity across sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 fell within approximately 73% to 110% across the tested matrices.
