Human PTPRQ ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PTPRQ in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay is completed in approximately 2 hours using a pre-coated microplate format, with colorimetric detection measured at 450 nm on a microplate reader. PTPRQ is also known by the synonyms Phosphatidylinositol phosphatase PTPRQ, PTP-RQ, R-PTP-Q, and Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase Q. The manufacturer reports the assay as specific for PTPRQ with no observed cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

The stated assay range is 0.781-50 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL. During the assay, PTPRQ present in standards or samples competes with PTPRQ immobilised on the plate for binding to an assay-specific antibody. After incubation and washing, an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate is added, followed by TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution, with the intensity of the colour inversely proportional to PTPRQ concentration in the sample. Reported mean recovery values are 92% for serum, 99% for EDTA plasma, and 92% for heparin plasma.
