Human Proteolipid Protein 2, Colonic Epithelium Enriched ELISA Kit

The kit is reactive with human samples and is run as a quantitative sandwich immunoassay, read on a colorimetric microplate reader (C0, S1).

The assay uses an antibody specific for PLP2 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added; captured PLP2 is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-PLP2 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, producing a coloured product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm. The reported sensitivity is <0.065 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with an approximate total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are intended to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date (S1).
