Human Protein Z Dependent Protease Inhibitor ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Protein Z Dependent Protease Inhibitor (ZPI) in plasma samples, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-ZPI detection antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the ZPI concentration is calculated against a standard curve. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

According to the manufacturer's documentation, the kit has a sensitivity of 0.49 ng/ml and an assay range of 1.25-80 ng/ml. Reported average recovery values are: Serum 91% (range 80-102%, n=5), EDTA plasma 90% (range 81-100%, n=5), and Heparin plasma 84% (range 80-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity percentages at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions are also provided in the manufacturer's documentation for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples.
