Human Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Receptor Type G ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Receptor Type G (PTPRG). The assay is reactive with human PTPRG and is intended for use with tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips. An antibody specific for PTPRG is pre-coated onto the wells; standards and test samples are added and PTPRG present in each sample is bound by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-PTPRG Antibody binds the captured PTPRG, followed by addition of HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate solution is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the PTPRG concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The reported assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.108 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported recovery values are 80% - 102% for serum (n=5, average 91%), 81% - 100% for EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%), and 80% - 89% for heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%). Dilution linearity data are provided across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
