From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PPM1A (Protein Phosphatase, Mg2+/Mn2+ Dependent 1A) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs an antibody specific for PPM1A pre-coated onto a microplate, with detection via a biotinylated anti-PPM1A antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is visualised using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is 0.118 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. In spiked recovery testing (n=5), average recoveries were 91% in serum (range 83-100%), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 90-103%), and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89-102%). Linearity upon serial dilution from 1:2 to 1:16 ranged from 73% to 110% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples.
