Human Protein Kinase R ELISA Kit

Distributed by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Protein Kinase R (PKR). The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate with an immobilised antibody specific for PKR. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-PKR antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader to determine PKR concentration against the standard curve.

Stated sensitivity is <0.055 ng/ml with a working range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery was 80%-102% (average 91%, n=5) in serum, 81%-100% (average 90%, n=5) in EDTA plasma, and 80%-89% (average 84%, n=5) in heparin plasma. Linearity data are reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Suitable for use with tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and reagents must not be used past the expiration date.
