Human Protein Kinase C Epsilon ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com comes a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) kit for the quantitative determination of human PKC epsilon in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a biotinylated anti-PKC epsilon detection antibody, with signal generated by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance includes a working range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.58 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery validation reports averages of 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma, and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5 each), with linearity assessed at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in each matrix.
