Human Protein Kinase C Delta ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Protein Kinase C Delta (PKC delta) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for PKC delta is pre-coated onto a microtiter plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where PKC delta binds to the immobilized antibody. After incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-PKC delta Antibody binds the captured analyte, and an HRP-Avidin conjugate is added. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of <0.059 ng/ml and a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. In validation studies, average recovery was 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity was confirmed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples.

Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The kit is suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates and is reactive with human samples.
