Human Protein Kinase C Alpha ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the quantitative in vitro determination of human Protein Kinase C Alpha (PKC alpha) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. It uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for PKC alpha, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Reported sensitivity is less than 0.054 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Validated sample recovery averages 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). The protocol is performed over approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.
