Human Protein Kinase B Alpha ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human AKT1 (Protein Kinase B Alpha) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) is pre-coated with an antibody specific for AKT1, and bound analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-AKT1 antibody followed by HRP-Avidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported performance: sensitivity <0.053 ng/ml and assay range 0.156-10 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery (n=5) is reported for serum (80-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81-100%, 90%) and heparin plasma (80-89%, 84%). Dilution linearity data (n=5) at 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions are also reported for the same sample types. Kit components are shipped at +4°C and stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
