Human Protein Disulfide Isomerase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Human Protein Disulfide Isomerase (P4HB) sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human P4HB in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) pre-coated with a P4HB-specific capture antibody, in combination with a biotinylated anti-P4HB detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Bound analyte is visualised using TMB substrate, with the enzymatic reaction stopped by an acidic stop solution and the absorbance read at 450 nm.

The quantitative assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.127 ng/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been validated in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%, n=5), with consistent recovery demonstrated across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in each matrix. Kit components are supplied for storage at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its stated expiration date.
