Human Protein C Inhibitor ELISA Kit

Distributed by Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Protein C Inhibitor (termed Serpin A5 in the manufacturer's documentation) in human plasma. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and the colour change is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The quoted sensitivity is <0.45 ng/ml and the assay range is 1.25-80 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Recovery in spiked samples is reported as: Serum (n=5) average 91% (range 80%-102%), EDTA Plasma (n=5) average 90% (range 81%-100%), and Heparin Plasma (n=5) average 84% (range 80%-89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is reported as Serum 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%; EDTA Plasma 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%; and Heparin Plasma 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%.
