From Antibodies.com, this Human PRSS8 (Protease, Serine 8) ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PRSS8 in serum, plasma, urine or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate together with a biotinylated anti-PRSS8 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with the reaction read as absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.59 ng/ml, a quantitative assay range of 1.56-100 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported spike-and-recovery values (n=5 per matrix) are: serum 80%-102% averaging 91%; EDTA plasma 81%-100% averaging 90%; heparin plasma 80%-89% averaging 84%. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (n=5) is reported as 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91% for heparin plasma.
