Human Protease, Serine 2 ELISA Kit

A colourmetric sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human PRSS2 (Protease, Serine 2) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format with a biotinylated anti-PRSS2 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate; bound PRSS2 is visualised with TMB substrate and quantified by reading the absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.21 ng/ml with a quantitative assay range of 0.781–50 ng/ml. The complete assay time is 4 h 30 min. Recovery has been characterised across serum (80–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in all three sample types, with serum ranging 74–107%, EDTA plasma 79–108% and heparin plasma 82–105%.
