Human Protease Activated Receptor 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PAR2 (Protease Activated Receptor 2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using a PAR2-specific antibody pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-PAR2 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate solution produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the density of yellow proportional to PAR2 concentration, read at 450 nm.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.053 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4h 30m on a pre-coated microplate platform. Validated sample types include tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
