Human Prostaglandin I Synthase ELISA Kit

This sandwich-format ELISA from Antibodies.com enables quantitative in vitro determination of human PTGIS/PGIS in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay is built on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and uses a biotinylated anti-PTGIS/PGIS detection antibody followed by HRP-avidin and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. The calibration range is 1.56-100 ng/ml, with a stated sensitivity of <0.64 ng/ml.

Analytical recovery has been characterised for serum (n=5; range 80-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5; range 81-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5; range 80-89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity has been tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types.
