Human Prosaposin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PSAP (Prosaposin) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cerebrospinal fluid, seminal plasma, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-PSAP detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Detection is colorimetric, using TMB substrate and reading absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The manufacturer reports a sensitivity of 0.055 ng/ml and a working standard range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery performance is given as 80% - 102% (average 91%) for serum (n=5), 81% - 100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma (n=5) and 80% - 89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Provided components include the pre-coated microplate, two lyophilized standard vials, Detection Solution A (120μl), Detection Solution B (120μl), 30X Wash Buffer (20ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45ml), TMB Substrate (9ml), Stop Solution (6ml) and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
