Human Prominin 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD133 (Prominin 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and an antibody-based sandwich immunoassay technique, in which captured CD133 is bound by a biotinylated detection antibody, visualised with an HRP conjugate, and read as a colourmetric signal at 450 nm.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 0.064 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. In spike-and-recovery testing, average recovery was 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%), with n=5 per sample type.
