Human Prokineticin Receptor 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Prokineticin Receptor 2 (PROKR2) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and employs a biotinylated anti-PROKR2 detection antibody with an HRP-avidin conjugate, visualised using a TMB substrate solution that turns yellow on addition of an acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and is proportional to PROKR2 concentration via the standard curve. The reported sensitivity is <0.107 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, and the complete assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Sample performance has been characterised for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Across five replicates, reported recovery ranges and averages are 80%-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80%-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across five replicates is reported as 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
