Human Prohibitin ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Prohibitin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate of 12 x 8 well strips together with a biotinylated anti-Prohibitin detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate, with the resulting absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. It has an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.122 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 m. Reported recovery (n=5) averages 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
